Decks are an animal of their own. It is very common for there to be a lot of rot to repair prior to anything else.
After rot repairs a layer of ¼” ACX plywood in glued and screwed down for a smooth surface to work with for the new coasting product.
Multiple layers of specialized coating are applied to make for a water tight and walkable surface. The final result is a waterproof deck that will be good for many years to come.
